We are a national bilingual association that promotes the profession of counselling and psychotherapy and its contribution to the mental health and well-being of all Canadians. We strive to increase awareness about the role of the profession in all healthcare, educational and industry sectors. We ensure the professional and ethical conduct of our members through our Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice and support cultural diversity. We provide valued services to our members. We provide professional counsellors and psychotherapists with access to a variety of services such as exclusive programs, member incentives and reduced rates on things like liability insurance. We also provide professional development opportunities and direct contact with professional peers and specialty groups. We provide a professional certification, CCC, and a professional supervision certification, CCC-S which set high standards for the profession across the country.
