The Brookfield Institute for Innovation + Entrepreneurship is an independent, non-partisan, multi-disciplinary team, housed at Toronto Metropolitan University, formerly known as Ryerson University. Our mission is to help Canada navigate the complex forces and astounding possibilities of the innovation economy. We envision a future that is prosperous, resilient and equitable, where everyone has the opportunity to thrive in the midst of unprecedented social and technological change. Through creative partnerships and cutting-edge research, we work to transform ideas into real-world solutions that make life in Canada better for everyone. We seek to understand how jobs and skills across Canada are being impacted by technological change, such as automation and digital augmentation, while helping companies and people gain the skills they need to adapt and thrive in an innovation-driven economy.
