WorkSupportNL is hosted by NLWIC and funded by the Future Skills Centre (FSC). The goal of this project was to create a digital interactive NL Workforce Development and Innovation Ecosystem Map to support NLWIC’s mandate.
The WorkSupportNL website is a visual map and search tool to help the needs of:
- Students
- Job Seekers
- Career and Employment Service Providers
- Education and training organizations
- Entrepreneurs
- Employees
- Employers
- and other individuals in their employment journey in Newfoundland and Labrador.
It identifies and visualizes the relationships of organizations that make up the workforce development and innovation ecosystem in Newfoundland and Labrador as well as the programs and services provided by these organizations. The digital interactive map provides a searchable tool to help educate, engage and “connect the dots” for labour market stakeholders about workforce development that supports economic development.
